Our Club
The Manly Probus Club Inc. has a Membership of 140 and a Waiting List of 10. There is also a gender balance of no more than 60% of any gender. If you are interested in joining our club and would like to see how the club operates please forward your expression of interest to our Membership Officer. She will let you know the current vacancy status and if there are vacancies you will be invited to attend our monthly meeting.
Fees for 2024-25 are $65 per person
New members will be charged prorated membership and meeting fees based on the month they are inducted.
Membership
Those who are interested in becoming members must first attend two meetings and an activity as guests and meet some committee members before seeking an application form from the Membership Officer or Secretary. Note that application for membership can only be submitted on the form, prescribed in our Constitution, which is only available from either the Membership Officer or the Secretary. Membership applications are considered at a Management Committee meeting.
When there are vacancies in either the Membership or the Waiting List the next application (in order of approval) is advanced to the appropriate list. You will then be notified of your status.
New members are encouraged to nominate for a committee position or help out with organising activities to ensure the ongoing successful running of the club.
